Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 July 2026
The short version: use ResumeAtlas to build your own resume, keep what you create, and understand that our country guidance is general convention rather than professional advice. The service is provided as is, and we cannot guarantee interviews or jobs. Be honest in your resume; it represents you, not us.
1. Agreement to these terms
By using ResumeAtlas (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
ResumeAtlas is a browser-based resume builder that formats your information according to common hiring conventions in different countries. All processing happens in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for details. The Service is currently in early access, which means features and pricing may change as we develop it.
3. Free and paid plans
- During early access, the Service is free to use and downloads carry a small "Made with ResumeAtlas" mark.
- Paid plans shown on the site (such as the Job Hunt Pack and Global Pass) are previews of planned pricing. They are not yet purchasable, and no payment is collected. Displayed prices may change before launch.
- When payments launch, a refund policy will be published alongside them. Our intent: if you have not used a purchase (no watermark-free downloads consumed), you can request a full refund within 14 days.
4. Not professional advice
The country guides, tips and templates describe general market conventions gathered from published hiring guidance. They are informational only and are not legal, immigration, tax or career-counselling advice. Hiring practices vary by employer, industry and region, and conventions change over time. Always check the specific requirements of the job you are applying for. We do not guarantee that any resume created with the Service will lead to interviews, offers or employment.
5. Your content and your responsibility
- You own everything you type into the builder and every resume you generate with it. We claim no rights over your content.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness and legality of your resume. Do not misrepresent qualifications; in many countries that has legal consequences and it is entirely your risk.
- Your content is stored in your own browser. We recommend downloading a copy of anything important, since clearing browser data will erase it and we cannot recover it.
6. Our content
The Service itself (its design, code, text, templates and country guides) belongs to ResumeAtlas and is protected by copyright. You may use it to create your own resumes, including for use in real job applications. You may not copy, resell or republish the Service or its guides as your own product.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no attempting to disrupt or overload it, no scraping it to build a competing product, no using it for anything unlawful, and no attempting to circumvent paid features once they launch.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its guidance fits every employer's expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeAtlas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which, during early access, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes to the Service or these terms
We may update the Service and these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
